Gender

Male and female horses are available in DefiHorse, each with one of two characteristics: having offspring or not having offspring. A colt is a male horse that has not yet have any offspring, whereas a filly is a female horse that has not yet given birth. A Mare is a female horse that has produced offspring, while a Stallion is a male horse that has fathered offspring.

Female horses command a somewhat larger premium due to the fact that you get to retain the progeny when the horse breeds.

The gender of each freshly born baby will be determined at random.
